- High School Leaving Certificate (Apolytirion) score at least 15
- IST Foundation Year or
- School for Health Professions HNC qualification
- IELTs of at least 6.00 overall, and 6.0 in all subtests or equivalent
- Prior qualifications will also be considered
Entry requirements will include a mandatory interview at IST and a written test.

Skills and Career
As a graduate of the programme you will have appropriate levels of personal and professional autonomy, underpinned by the scientific knowledge and research base of physiotherapy. You will be able to work with individuals to maximise the quality of life by promoting physical approaches optimising health, well-being and illness prevention and by maintaining, restoring and improving function (CSP 2010) Graduates of the programme are eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). In order to use the title ‘Physiotherapist’ a practitioner must be registered with the HCPC. The programme meets the requirements of the HCPC standards of Education and Training (2009) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Learning and Development Principles for CSP Accreditation of Qualifying Programmes in Physiotherapy (2010). The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) Academic and Practitioner Standards in Physiotherapy (2001) and the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (2008) are also met.
Graduates will be able to have their professional qualification recognized in Greece if they follow the required process specified by the Greek Law (link).

Τhe full-time BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy is a three-year single honours programme offered by IST through a franchise agreement with the University of Keele. This programme has been ranked 1st in England in student satisfaction, research, entry criteria and graduate attributes (The Complete University Guide 2015). The programme actively promotes integration of the science of Physiotherapy with practical learning in a clinical setting within the NHS (community and acute hospital settings) and other sectors.
The programme aims to develop excellent levels of academic and professional competence. It encourages you to develop current, adaptable and transferable skills which enable you to be proactive in an evolving health care environment.
Consequently, you are able to be responsive and innovative and take responsibility for your own learning during your study at Keele University.

The innovative physiotherapy curriculum offered in the School meets the standards of Education and Training set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
A variety of assessment methods are used throughout the programme; these include: essays, seen exams, multiple choice questions, reports and practical exams.
Throughout the three-year programme five themed strands are developed: Practice Experience (local, regional, national and international), Evidence-based Health and Rehabilitation, Health and Well-being, Physiotherapy Practice (MSK, Cardio, Neuro).
