Academic Year
The academic year consists of two semesters of 12 weeks duration each. Semester A’ starts at the beginning of October and ends at the end of January. Semester B’ starts in the middle of February and ends at the end of May. The examinations in February, June and September last two weeks and usually, there is one week of study scheduled before the beginning of the examinations.
Classes run usually four days a week, thus giving you the opportunity for personal study and research (e.g. visits to businesses and organisations). The modules are taught in the form of lectures, seminars, tutoring lessons and laboratories and are aimed at your gradual acquisition of knowledge by continuously linking theory with practice.
