Career Prospects

Both London South Bank University and IST have strong links with employers through their alumni, professors and participation in events such as local career fairs. IST is an active member of various organisations in Greece and has a collaboration agreement with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the largest Chamber of Commerce in Greece and the Balkans, as well as with the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).

Our alumni hold senior positions within international companies, management consultancies, research companies, large FMCG organisations, banks and financial institutions, as well as not for profit organisations. Our alumni and other business executives regularly act as visiting speakers to individual modules and in extra - curricula sessions. Students also gain direct contact with employers through their dissertation research, often undertaking face-to-face interviews with managers across the full spectrum of business functions.

In the context of a rapidly evolving business environment, emphasis will be placed on the need for life-long learning. Students will be given the opportunity to engage with “experts” (visiting lecturers and speakers from professional bodies and businesses) so that they enhance their knowledge and skills.
